چکیده

Abstract The present study aimed to assess population structure and phylogenetic relationships of nine subspecies Brassica rapa L. represented with thirty-five accessions cover a wide range species distribution area using isozyme analysis in order select more diverse as supplementary resources that can be utilized for improvement B. napus. Enzyme resulted detecting 14 putative polymorphic loci 27 alleles. Mean allele frequency 0.04 (rare alleles) was observed Cat4A Cat4B sub Oleifera accession CR 2204/79 trilocularis 2215/88 2244/88. highest genetic diversity measures were dichotoma, 1585/96 (the average (H0) expected heterozygosity (He), number alleles per locus (Ae)). These observations make this valuable resource included breeding programs the oilseed fixation index (F) is significantly higher than zero indicating significant deficiency heteozygosity. divergence among indicated very great differentiation (FST = 0.8972) which means about 90% distributed subspecies, while 10% within subspecies. This coincides low value gene flow (Nm 0.0287). ssp. oleifera (turnip rape) (sarson) grouped under one cluster morphological classification.

Population Structure and Phylogenetic Relationships in a Diverse Panel of Brassica rapa L.

The crop species Brassica rapa L. has significant economic importance around the world. However, the global distribution and complex evolutionary history of the species has made investigating its genetic population structure difficult. Crop domestication and improvement has resulted in extreme phenotypic diversity and subspecies that are used for oilseed, food for human consumption, and fodder ...

Analysis of genetic diversity, phylogenetic relationships and population structure of Arasbaran cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L.) genotypes using ISSR molecular markers

Cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L.), considered as the ancestor of cultivated trees in Arasbaran region, is a medicinally and economically plant species. However, little is known about genetic diversity, breeding programs, and population structure of this species in mentioned region. Keeping this in view, the main objectives of present study were to analysis the genetic diversity, phyloge...

Genetic relationships among turnip (Brassica rapa var. rapa) genotypes.

Turnip (Brassica rapa var. rapa) is one of the main vegetables consumed by people living in Eastern Anatolia in Turkey. In this region, farmers obtain their own seeds for production, which results in considerable morphological variability. We examined the genetic variation and relationships among 11 turnip genotypes sampled from diverse environments of the Erzurum region located in Eastern Anat...

Phylogenetic Analysis of Brassica rapa MATH-Domain Proteins

The MATH (meprin and TRAF-C homology) domain is a fold of seven anti-parallel β-helices involved in protein-protein interaction. Here, we report the identification and characterization of 90 MATH-domain proteins from the Brassica rapa genome. By sequence analysis together with MATH-domain proteins from other species, the B. rapa MATH-domain proteins can be grouped into 6 classes. Class-I protei...

Isozyme variation and phylogenetic relationships in Vicia subgenus Cracca (Fabaceae).

BACKGROUND AND AIMS The phylogenetic relationships among 27 vetch species belonging to the subgenus Cracca of the genus Vicia were studied in comparison with three species of Lathyrus section Lathyrus on the basis of isozyme variation. METHODS Isozymes encoded by 15 putative loci of ten enzymes were resolved by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and isozyme variation was analysed by using par...
